More About Me

As a Robotics Research Engineer at UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA), I apply my research skills and knowledge to develop and improve robotic systems for nuclear fusion applications. I work with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and technicians to design, model, control, and test innovative solutions for complex and challenging problems in the field of cybernetics.

I have a strong academic background and a passion for robotics. I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering / Robotics from Izmir Institute of Technology, where I focused on motion planning and control algorithms for kinematically redundant laser cutting manipulators. I also have hands-on experience and theoretical understanding of haptics and teleoperation systems, real-time control systems, and industrial electro-mechanical components.

Additionally, I co-founded a tech startup company in 2015, where I led the development of an exoskeleton device for patients with hand tremor. I am motivated by the potential of robotics to transform and enhance various domains and industries.
